As of my last update (from yesterday afternoon, but whatever) TROPIC STORM MF’ING FAY has caused devastation untold, including:

- 2 cruise lines had to change their itinerary
- Naples had several INCHES of flooding and some tree limbs were down
- apparently 4 or 5 people in Cuba died. no, seriously. yeah…

Mandy….you rock…this shit will always go down until we get enough of US to VOLUNTEER for positive efforts that you have described. As an old dude of 60 I could join all you young folks in the desperate pessimism this story helps fuel, but then I remember my best friend Narville from the 3rd grade. My father’s friend asked him how can you let Bobby bring an N*&*&*R into the house?…1956 REALLY SUCKED!!! .I can only say young dudes that things are getting better…not nearly fast enough…but at least in the right direction. When we have enough Mandy’s to reach critical mass we’ll have liftoff on a better society.

I live about ten miles north of the proposed nuke plant in Levy Co. We already get test warnings and the like due to the Crystal River plant. I don’t even want to imagine what the heck having some nice big reactors practically in my site line will lead to. And this is supposed to be the “Nature Coast.” Yeah…

Al I know is that I’ll be as far away from Levy as possible by the time the thing is built. Can’t help but think that plenty of other residents will join me. Isn’t there any way to stop this garbage?

And McCain wants more nukes. Great…
